Selling Your Boat Is A HUGE Task

We hear so much about the economy has effected the different industries. Newspapers are printing that the auto industry shopping malls, jewelery, and others are all suffering from today's economic state. The one industry that we do not hear about is the Boating industry.

The fact that the current economy has, to put it mildly, hindered the ability for boat lovers to purchase boats makes it even harder to sell their boats. Lets not forget the fact that there seems to be more boats on the market today than there has been in past years.

Dealers

The total number of businesses servicing the entire marine industry has been victimized by the dramatic decline in boat sales. New boat dealers are not selling as many boats. There are two good sized boat dealers right in the Cincinnati area where I live that have closed.

Boat Brokers

Boat brokers are suffering. It is taking longer for boats to sell, and for less money, than past years. This means that the advertising expenses that go into selling a boat have risen significantly. The lower selling prices mean that commissions have lowered significantly.

Mechanics who work on boats

A huge percentage of boats are sitting at homes and in boat yards hoping for a new owner. These same boats that were being services every year are now waiting for a new owner to take over those tasks. So boat service providers have also seen a dramatic decline in active customers.

We are here to aid in every aspect of the boating and marine industry. We are so committed to this services that you can contact us and we will help you find all possible avenues to promote your business.
